Overview

Attention Grabber is a collection of Final Cut Pro title plugins that make it easy to capture your viewers' attention and point them to exactly what matters.

Highlighter animates highlighter strokes over text, perfect for screenshots of web pages and news articles. Line with Text draws an animated line or arrow with a label. Shape outlines something and isolates it, so you can enlarge it or make it stand out.

Make your subject pop by blurring, darkening or desaturating everything else. Reveal, hide, move, scale and rotate each element, with smooth easing.

The three titles can be used at the same time, and they render fast.

How to use

In the Titles browser sidebar, click My FCPeffects, then Attention Grabber (show the sidebar if it is hidden).
Drag Highlighter, Line with Text or Shape into your timeline above your clip.
To freeze the clip underneath while you point something out, park the playhead and press Shift-H, then drag the hold to the length you want.
For the Highlighter, add your screenshot to the Drop.Zone in the Inspector and position the highlight.
Set the reveal, hide and movement controls, and the background blur or darkening.
