Overview

Color Cycler is a Final Cut Pro title plugin that makes it quick to add fun, stylish, colorful animations and text to your videos. It cycles your clip through up to six color versions, with or without text.

Each version has its own text color, text background, tint and colorize settings, so you can create bold pop-art style looks.

No keyframing is needed. Choose your colors, and the length of the title in your timeline sets how fast the versions change.

Move, rotate and style the text and its rounded backgrounds right in the Inspector.

How to use

In the Titles browser sidebar, click My FCPeffects, then Color Cycler (show the sidebar if it is hidden).
Drag a preset into your timeline above your clip.
Double-click the text to edit it.
Set Number.Of.Clips, then choose the colors for each version in the Title Inspector.
Make the title shorter for faster changes, or longer for slower ones.
