Paint stroke split screens for Final Cut Pro

Overview

Paint Splitter is a Final Cut Pro title plugin for quickly creating beautiful paint stroke split screen sequences. Brush strokes paint your clips onto the screen in three bands.

Choose a horizontal layout (top, middle and bottom) or a vertical one (left, middle and right). The middle band uses the clip beneath the title, and the other two use Drop Zones.

Each band has its own opacity, blend mode and color solid, so it is easy to customize the look.

How to use

In the Titles browser sidebar, click My FCPeffects, then Paint Splitter (show the sidebar if it is hidden).
Drag a horizontal or vertical preset into your timeline above your clip.
Click each Drop Zone arrow in the Inspector and choose a clip for the outer bands.
Adjust the opacity, blend mode and color of each band.
Set Animation.Ease.
