Shifter is a collection of stylish, easy-to-use Final Cut Pro transitions that are great for quickly creating slideshows and montages.

Each transition shifts the shot up, down, left or right, with optional zoom and rotation. They were designed to render quickly.

Customize the direction, the amount of zoom and rotation, and when each move happens, with an ease control for smooth or snappy starts and stops.

Every preset comes with or without motion blur. The No Motion Blur versions render a bit faster.

How to use

In the Transitions browser sidebar, click My FCPeffects, then Shifter (scroll down if needed).
Drag a transition between two clips. If Final Cut Pro asks, click Create Transition.
Drag the edges of the transition to make it longer (slower) or shorter (faster).
Select it and adjust Shift.Direction, Zoom.Amount and Rotate.Amount in the Inspector.
Set Ease for smoother or snappier moves.
